
The Statutory Improvement Project searches and refines irrational statutes that do not reflect the rapidly changing society.
By gathering opinions from the people, central government, local government, and based on the agendas discovered during statutory examination and statutory interpretation functions, MOLEG in cooperation with various ministries strives to support the free economic activities of the citizens and enterprises.
Statutory Improvement Standards
- Statutes that inconvenience or burden daily lives & business activities
- Statutes which are unreasonable or overly focused on administrative convenience
- Out-of-date statutes, including those not applicable in the information age
- Excessively comprehensive or abstract statutes that generate potential for discretionary abuse
- Statutes lacking practical effect due to unrealistic conditions, etc.
