Exchange & Collaboration Business for Legislative System
  • MOLEG is making efforts to globalize the legislative system of Korea through continuous exchanges and collaborations with other legislative entities of Korea’s major trading partners, such as the United States, China, Japan, and Vietnam. For this purpose, MOLEG has entered into the memorandum of understanding with 11 entities of 9 nations in Asia. Further, MOLEG is working with Vietnam and Myanmar for working-level exchanges for overall legislative collaborations.
  • MOLEG is actively involved in sharing and spreading its advanced legislative system, as well as its own experience for development, with and to the developing countries in Asia. As a part of this effort, MOLEG held the 『AsianForm of Legislation Information Affairs (AFOLIA)』twice, namely on November 2011 and June 2012, for countries in Asia, and received positive responses from over 40 countries that participated in the forum.
  • MOLEG is currently receiving many inquiries from Asian countries about the advanced legislative systems of Korea and the National Legal Information Center (www.law.go.kr). Thus, MOLEG is providing its best supports possible to share and spread its experience and knowledge on legislative systems, which has led economic and social development in Korea, to these countries.
