The Unified Search Service for National Statutory Information
National Law Information Center(www.law.go.kr) provides a search service on which various statutory information such as legislations, treaties, administrative rules of the central administrative agencies, regulations and ordinances of the local governments, precedents, etc are available.
Also, this service allows to connect statutes and lower statutes, statutes and administrative rules and the like, and to confirm them.
We plan to establish Act on service and management of the statutory information and thus prepare the legal basis on which legal information and people’s ideas are converged and various services are developed.
Easy to Find Practical Legal Information Service
Practical Legal Information Service(http://easylaw.go.kr) reclassifies laws and regulations in accordance with daily life and occupations and makes them easier to understand. And it provides information on them.
Since 2013, it has been providing personalized practical legal information service according to gender, age, job, with or without children, single or married, etc.
National Legislation System
In the National Legislation System (www.lawmaking.go.kr), legislative affairs, such as reviewing bills, interpreting statutes, and supporting local governments when drafting legislation, are con- ducted all together.
In addition, the Public Participation Legislation Center (opinion.lawmaking.go.kr) provides the current status of the government’s legislation and pre-announcement of legislation of the State and local governments. And the people can also voice their opinions about pre- announcement of legislation, etc. and report the laws that cause inconvenience in this center.
